The Grant Park Chorus is marking its 50th anniversary this weekend with a wide-ranging program that will allow the lakefront festival’s gleaming vocal ensemble to show their versatility.

Carlos Kalmar and Christopher Bell will split podium duties leading the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus in a program that offers Carl Orff’s lusty Carmina Burana, as well as Stravinsky’s Les Noces, Eric Whitacre’s Cloudburst and Raua needmine by Veljo Tormis.

Concert time is 6:30 p.m. Friday and 7:30 pm. Saturday at the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. Admission is free. grantparkmusicfestival.com
