Anne-Sophie Mutter’s Chicago appearances have, fortunately, been more frequent in recent seasons, both with the CSO and in recital. The celebrated violinist returns to Symphony Center Sunday for a program of three fiddle standards with one bracing contemporary work. Teaming up with regular keyboard partner Lambert Orkis, Mutter will offer Mozart’s Violin Sonata in G Major, Schubert’s Fantasy in C Major, and Saint-Saëns’ Violin Sonata No. 1. Lutoslawski’s Partita, a piece written for her by the Polish composer, completes the program. Concert time is 3 p.m. Sunday at Symphony Center. cso.org; 312-394-3000.
