Weinberg’s “The Passenger” proves a powerful experience in New York

Mieczyslaw Weinberg’s The Passenger will come to the Lyric Opera of Chicago next February. The Houston Grand Opera production of the haunting Holocaust tale traveled to the Lincoln Center Festival this week, opening for a three-night run on Thursday.
