Yuja Wang may be best known for her flashy virtuosity (and wardrobe) but the celebrated pianist’s recital Sunday at Symphony Center will also afford the opportunity to hear her mix some poetic repertoire with the keyboard bravura.

Wang will perform Bach’s Toccata in C minor, Scriabin’s Sonatas Nos. 4 & 5 and Berg’s Sonata, along with Ravel’s “Une barque sur l’océan” from Miroirs, Chopin Mazurkas, Brahms Intermezzi and music of Mompou and Galuppi. Concert time is 3 p.m. at Symphony Center. cso.org; 312-294-3000.
