Violinist withdraws from CSO program

Violinist Frank Peter Zimmermann has withdrawn from this week’s Chicago Symphony Orchestra concerts due to illness.

The program, to be conducted by Bernard Haitink, will replace the scheduled Berg Violin Concerto with Schubert’s Symphony No. 5. The performances of Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 with soprano Klara Ek are unaffected. cso.org; 312-294-3000.
